1935 Riley Adelphi 12/4 1½ litre Car. Riley motor cars was one of the great British Marque until the Riley Motor Company went into receivership in 1938 due to technical hitches. Lord Nuffield of Nuffield Tractors bought out Riley for a sum of £143,000, then sold it to Morris Motors for a reputed sum of £1.00.
