Hurricat Fighter Airplane: Also known as the Sea Hurricane. Nearly all of the Hurricat planes ended up in a watery grave with their pilots. The Royal Navy in their infinite wisdom used the Hurricane to protect Atlantic convoys against German U-Boats far away from any land base.
