1912 Blackburn Type D Monoplane Flying machine shown which at one stage was called the Mercury or just D Type Monoplane. Designer of this aircraft was Robert Blackburn born in 1885. Also, he was one of early British pioneer of aircraft to have designed  an aircraft flying machine.
